To know the status of DEP is very easy,i have tried this method but this method is not for everyone because its very complicated and risky,if you want to try this this method you can do this.I have tried this method and it worked very well.Follow this steps:
1.Click or press windows start button and in search bar type command prompt
2.Click on command prompt.
3.After this copy this code:wmic OS Get DataExecutionPrevention_SupportPolicy and paste this code to your command prompt.
4.And then hit enter button.
5.After hitting enter button,it will be show the number it means the status of DEP on your machine
6.if suppose you saw '0' then it means DEP is disabled for all processes,or if you saw '1' then it means DEP is enabled for all processes,or if you saw '2' then it means DEP is enabled for only windows system components and services or if you saw '3'then again it means DEP is enabled in all processes
