HOW TO BUILD A HOME GYM?

If your working hours don't allow you enough time to go to the gym,you might want to consider working out in your own home. But before you buy a treadmill or any machine, think about this:

*Make sure you know how to use the equipment safely and effectively. The dealer should deliver and set up the equipment in your home for you.

*Inspect the frame and its components--ensure the moving parts appear durable and operate smoothly.

*Check your equipment's warranty and check any refund or return policies.

*Check if the machine has any limitations. If you are on the heavier side, you may feel safer with a sturdier treadmill with handrails and better weight support.

If you'd rather start small, here are five basic essentials you need for a home workout:
1.EXERCISE MAT:For sit-ups,stretching and yoga.Look for one made with 1.5 to 2.5cm foam,as well as vinyl coating for easy cleaning.

2.HAND WEIGHTS:For weight-bearing exercises that will tone your upper body, strengthen your bones and reduce your risk of osteoporosis.

3.STEPPING PLATFORM:Aside from getting your heart pumping,it also acts as a support for your hands during push-ups,for stretching or for some yogasanas.

4.SKIPPING ROPE:Skipping rope can be a good option for you.

5.INFLATABLE BALL:For ball-based sit-ups and push-ups.Before you buy,sit on the ball with your feet touching the floor. If your thighs are parallel to the ground,it's the right size. The thicker the vinyl, the less likely the ball will burst.
