WAN:WAN Stands for Wide area Network,it operate over a broad geographic area and it uses satellite transmission telephone line.WAN consists of computer equipment owned by the user,together with data communication equipment provided by a common carrier.
MAN:MAN Stands for Metropolitan Area Network,this covers the entire city and it is owned by single entity normal government body,large corporation.
CAN:CAN Stands for Campus/Cluster Area Network,it consists of interconnected network,all freely exchanging information.
